Estheticians & Spa Practitioners For Brand New Spa

Cowichan Bay Spa + Salon is a brand new, full service spa and salon situated at the Oceanfront Suites in the beautiful Cowichan Bay Village. We are officially opening this fall but are looking to fill some positions as soon as July 2nd as we will be offering a limited "in room' service menu to hotel guests this busy summer season. We are looking for highly skilled and motivated estheticians and body workers who are passionate about this industry to join our team. Full time and part time positions are available. Responsibilities and Duties: Reporting to the Spa Director, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Consistently offer professional, friendly service with a positive and inviting personality. Perform all services in a safe, comfortable and hygienic manner. Maintain cleanliness of work area and all equipment used. Follow all spa policies, protocols, safety and sanitation procedures. Educating clients on products used and following through with retail sales. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Skills & Requirements: Previous spa experience is preferred but not necessary. Certification from an accredited school of esthetics or relevant experience is required. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities. Ability to maintain a high level of knowledge of products and services offered. Ability to recommend products to clients and maintain product sales goals. Ability to maintain a professional manner, appearance and discretion. Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends and special events. Highly responsible and reliable. Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and management. Ability to communicate in English both verbally and written. Mobile spa experience is considered an asset. Salary is based on experience and is a combination of hourly & commission. Compensation package to be discussed at time of interview.
