The Vancouver Island Ecostar Awards recognize outstanding environmental achievements and leadership by businesses, organizations and individuals. These awards are given to local champions of initiatives, projects and innovations that contribute to a vibrant future in which our communities and ecology both prosper. This year marks the 5th anniversary of Synergy Sustainability Institute hosting the Ecostar Awards! Synergy Sustainability Institute is a Victoria based non-profit focused on facilitating the shift towards a green economy through programs and idea incubation. Core programs include the Vancouver Island Green Business Collective, Project Zero, and the Food Eco District.
