This role is vitally important to the efficient operation of the non-for-profit society's administrative offices involving a broad range of tasks and activities both directly and indirectly with other staff and community members. Responsibilities: -Manage the administrative offices of the Society including reception duties, filing, organization, digital database management, accounts receivable and custodial -Assist staff in ensuring society is in compliance with regulations -Maintain positive working relationships with staff members, members and community -Prepare and distribute various communications (e.g., monthly calendars, emails and messages) -Manage funding claims, grants and applications -Assist with bookkeeping -Attend, participate, record and maintain minutes for meetings, as required and requested -Ensure HR resources, records and files are kept complete and confidential Skills: -Willingness and ability to participate in ongoing training -Proficiency in G-suite & office tools and/or willing and quick to learn -Social media/website maintenance experience -Proven team player able to problem solve and manage conflict -Ability to work under pressure to coordinate multiple requests to meet deadlines -Agile to work independently and self-directed, as required -Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills using tact and diplomacy Requirements: -Undergraduate degree OR equivalent life/work experience -3 written, professional references Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, including bi-weekly flex-days from approx. 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, daily Rate: $21.00 (Paid vacation & Health Benefits after 90 days) Please email COVER LETTER & RESUME (Although we appreciate everyone's interest, only exceptionally qualified applicants will be contacted.)
