$18 · Community Support Worker

A small non profit Society requires someone to assist an adult female with developmental disabilities and some physical issues. The setting is home style, the position involves helping the client with all aspects of her life, from meal prep and housecleaning to trips into the community. Able to maneuver a wheelchair and handle some personal care, you should have a good sense of humour and enjoy just talking with the client or watching movies. Must have a driver's license, 1st aid. Some knowledge of autism and FASD is useful, but full training and support is provided. The position is full time, 39 hours per week, and starts at $18.00 per hour. Experience with- and love of- dogs is a must.
