Abilities Community Services has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Community Support Worker to accumulate 32 hours, working Saturday's and Sunday's, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This is a great opportunity for students. Responsibility of the position includes, but is not limited to: * Supporting adults with developmental and physical disabilities * Work on goals contained in PCPs * Take part in planning options for participants * Food and meal preparation * Household chores * Medication administration * Personal care * Any other tasks as outlined in the job description * Must work well in a team environment Qualifications: *Current First Aid/CPR Level C * Food Safe * A clean criminal reference check * Medical clearance including a recent negative TB test * Non Violent Intervention Training * CSW diploma or relevant work experience * Class 4 drivers licence is an asset Compensation: This is a 32 hour per week position in a union environment.
