Client Care & Help Desk Representative

ROLE SUMMARY The Client Care & Help Desk Representative role connects directly with WorkBC clients who have recently found employment, ensuring they are successful in their new roles.   This position will also provide other client services, including appropriately directing client questions and/or providing resolutions as well as increasing client volumes. Client Care & Help Desk Representatives provide support for various WCG departments and programs as the all-around, front line information and Help resource. Client Care & Help Desk Representatives handle Tier 1 level questions/issues through online chat, email and phone enquiries from clients, staff, employers and the general population. The Client Care & Help Desk Representative will have a broad range of basic business program knowledge and processes and conduct Tier 1 troubleshooting. QUALIFICATIONS Required: ~ Experience in a customer service, help desk (IT or customer service), call centre or reception field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job ~ Ability to work in a growing, fast and challenging environment ~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills ~ Outgoing, friendly, energetic and compassionate personality ~ Strong digital literacy skills and proven ability to navigate within unfamiliar software ~ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proficient with technical documentation ~ Solid understanding of confidentiality and other professional codes of conduct; must submit for a criminal record check and ~ Reliability Status Clearance ~ Ability to work outside regular business hours, including in shifts, mornings, evenings, and weekends Preferred: ~ Proficiency in French and/or other languages in addition to English ~ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proficient with technical documentation ~ Curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning and ~ knowledge sharing Education: ~ Completion of secondary school
