Catering Operations Assistant

Little Piggy Catering is hiring a Catering Operations Assistant This is an office/backend position with some onsite service Duties are: Making, answering and returning phone call Assisting with event sales and planning Office administration Coordinating equipment and supplies Procurement and ordering (this may include physically going shopping) As well as, Service and coordination at offsite events Assisting with pack ups, deliveries and pick ups, onsite setups Qualifications: 2+ related experience Hospitality or culinary education is desireable Experience as a server Drivers license is mandatory Computer and writing skills Vehicle an asset, but not required (mileage provided). Ability to work independently and with limited supervision Compensation: $17-20 / hr subject to experience (+ mileage, OT compensated; bonuses ) Shifts are mainly daytime. Occasional evenings required.
