The Carvin XV 112 guitar tube amp was released in 1981. It is a 100 watt amp with two channels. It has a very nice clean sound that can be modified in many ways due to the onboard five band EQ. It can be used as a head to power external speaker cabinets in addition to its own. It comes with a classic spring reverb built in. A novel feature is the ability to select between 60% and 100% power output. This way you can run the tubes hot at 60% and get full sound at low volume. Overall, a great amp for its time.
