Our small but busy land surveying office located in Colwood is seeking a Bookkeeper/Office Administrator to join our team of professionals. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook * organized and efficient and able to work as part of a team; * be willing to take on challenges and responsibilities with a pro-active, positive attitude. Required Education/Experience: 2- 3 years bookkeeping/administrative experience Duties / Responsibilities: Bookkeeping: * Enter financial transactions into Sage50 * A/R - Assisting with invoicing, entering in Sage, collections of past due accounts, posting payments, running semi-monthly time and billing reports, disbursement reports * AP - Bill Payments; calendarizing important dates, entering in to Sage * Payroll - Semi Monthly Pay, Source Deduction Remittances; Benefits Administration * Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations * Year End work with external accountants Office Administration includes: * Managing and ordering office supplies, liaising with cleaning staff * Setting up new client files, archiving old files, old archive file maintenance * Ensuring proper maintenance of office equipment * Preparing documents and correspondence as requested * Filing for all accounting and administration * Other miscellaneous duties as required. * Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Remuneration: $20 - 23/hr depending on experience plus benefits Working Hours: 25-30hrs/week depending on skill set
