Very rare 17th. century reproduction French woodstove. Beautiful glazed (chocolate brown) cast iron with intricate top. The top is hinged for access to a cooking surface. Side access door. Glazed versions of this stove are very rare since the heat required for glazing cracked over 70% of the castings. The stove puts out tremendous heat and has a screw damper in the door to control the burn rate. It can either be used as a functioning room heater or as a decorative piece. In perfect condition. Measurements are 20in.long x 13in. wide x 22in. high. Weight is approximately 150lbs. Flue size is 4in. but can be modified to fit any size flue with a standard adapter. Serious offers only please.
