A Very lovely and rare pair of Staffodshire Porcelain Dogs with confetti finish. Approx 5.75" high. Very rare to see these with hollow bases. Approx. 1860s. One figure shows a firing flaw near the face (pictured) and does not quite sit level and shows light fading to gold gilding. The other figure sits nice and level but shows a small crack flaw near the rear base but figure is still structurally sound and solid and crack cannot be seen when displayed head on. This figure is marked "4202" on the rear hind leg. Please view all photos carefully and please feel free to request more or ask any questions you may have.
