Accounting Clerk PT

Please Email Resume Position: Accounting Clerk ($20-22/hr) Location: 2519 B Rock Bay Ave Victoria Status: Part time: Monday to Friday 4 hours per day (flexible times between 8am-4pm) Position Description: This position is primarily responsible for basic full cycle bookkeeping/accounting tasks including AP, AR, Payroll, bank reconciliations. This position will also provide administrative support to the Sr Manager of Finance and Administration as required. Based on the skills and drive of the successful candidate there is room for responsibilities to grow and expand. Duties & Responsibilities: * Process AP invoices and print cheques or submit EFT files for multiple companies * Process EFT withdrawals and prepare AR deposits * Process Bi-Weekly payroll for multiple companies * Prepare government remittances * Weekly bank reconciliations and reporting with possible progression to monthend reporting * Misc other related duties Education & Experience: * Post-Secondary training in bookkeeping/accounting or equivalent experience * 3-5 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping * Proficient in Sage 50 * Capable of working in a Microsoft environment Skills & Abilities: * Strong interpersonal and communication * High attention to detail * Strong organization skills * Ability to adapt to unexpected change and meet deadlines * Team Player
