We're reluctantly selling our 26ft Paceship because of busy work lives that seem to always be getting in the way. This is a great boat for easy sailing, overnight journeys, and family days out. The boat is comfortable and easy to sail. She sleeps 3-4 people with ease, has a roomy eating area, efficient galley, and simple head. The hull is sound and she is a strong boat. There are some minor jobs needed (detailed below) and it is reflected in the asking price. Built in Nova Scotia, Paceships are known for their practical design and quick cruising ability. This would be a great buy for somebody looking to get into the sailboat market for a reasonable price. Overall condition: Fair and seaworthy with minor work needed to bring all systems up to a good standard (e.g. running lights haven't been working lately). Sails: Mainsail in decent condition Headsail in good condition Spinnaker in fair condition — has had some repairs Sheets and hardware in good working condition Electrical/navigation: Deep cycle battery VHF Sounder Power: 2016 Mercury 4 stroke (15hp) outboard (This is a strong little motor that I would like to keep, but selling it is a option. I also have an older two stroke 9.9 Evinrude that was on the boat prior.) What I think she needs: New bulge pump — I planned to install auto pump in bilge but didn't get around to it. New seal in head and minor plumbing work. (Head works, just doesn't suck water in from clean tank.) Reupholstering of cushions. (Not a must do but was a job I had in mind and have some fabric that I can throw in.) We are selling as-is and the price reflects the work needed. Currently moored at Oak Bay marina. Please contact me by email if you have questions or would like to view. Open to reasonable offers.
