I had 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander before this Lexus and even though that car was newer, I love this car more. It has a character. It's so much more comfortable. You can really relax while driving it. At the same time, the engine is powerful enough to give you some excitement if you want it. Suspension is adjustable (sport/comfort) which was really convenient on the highway. Lots of other options available (it's still a luxury car): climate control, premium sound system, heated seats, power front seats, memory for the driver seat, sunroof, etc. This car is very well maintained. Exterior and interior are in the good condition for 1997 car. It has 255,200 km. Next oil change will be at 256,000 km (I service it at Lexus Victoria). Tires have been changed a year ago - all weather tires with the snow flake ($760). Timing belt was also changed a year ago ($930) as well as the battery. Doesn't work: - driver's heated seat. Didn't check why it's not working. I don't really need it in Victoria. Passenger's heated seat works fine; - music system display. It's possible to find it on somewhere on the internet but again, I don't really need it. I'm only using a car cassette player adapter. Didn't try to use regular cassettes or CDs (there's a 6 disc CD changer); - right passengers cannot close their windows but you can do it from driver's control panel on the door. Didn't check why it's not working. Price is negotiable because of these. Overall this car has been great! I had no issues with it and I'm really enjoying it.
