Vintage Schildkrot Turtle Mark Baby Girl with big blue sleepy closing eyes with lovely long dark lashes (left eye no longer closes all the way). red cupid-bow lips and slightly open mouth. Light brown FUR feels and looks like human HAIR - very clean, no bald patches. Length 16", head and limbs jointed; bent elbows and legs; separated thumbs, big toes angled out. Very realistic baby body details: elbow, knee & hand dimples; finger-and-toe-nail impressions. Crier sound works with intentional tipping forward. Overall condition: very good. Head is #40, body #42. Pictured wearing original 1950s diaper with shoulder straps under a pink cotton one-piece baby romper of the period; light blue hooded Alaska jaket in an early type of fleece, lined with white-patterned non-cotton fabric; one tie-string has its fleecy ball missing, inside hood has a stain.
